| About Us |
About UsBimac has produced quality castings for commercial applications since 1959. An original licensee of the Shaw Process, Bimac later expanded to making precision investment castings, in addition to ceramic mold castings. We routinely produce precision castings weighing from just ounces to over 300 pounds in over 100 metals. Our production capabilities include carbon, alloy, tool steel and stainless steels as well as brass and bronze alloys. We also produce high nickel and cobalt alloys such as Ni-Cr Alloy, Nickel Alloy and many special proprietary alloys manufactured to our customers’ specifications. Bimac can receive drawings and electronic data via E-Mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it directly through its web site at www.bimac.com. We can pre-engineer casting quality by using our solidification modeling software. This service can cut weeks off the delivery of a new casting design and assures a quality casting the first time. Bimac can also provide rapid prototype castings using Quick Cast and other types of Stereolithography (SLA) patterns with prototype castings typically shipped in as little as two weeks after receipt of drawings or electronic data. Our in-house machining provides customers one-stop shopping as tooling is built in-house and castings can be supplied machined complete to print. Bimac also has a complete non-destructive testing laboratory providing x-ray, dye penetrant and magnetic particle testing. Bimac has offered free technical seminars for engineers and purchasing personnel for several years. These seminars provide a quick primer course on how investment castings are made and the capabilities of the investment casting process. Hundreds have attended the seminars at our facility and at many of our customers’ plants throughout the United States. |
