Bimac is ISO 9001:2008 certified in our Investment and Ceramic Mold casting processes as well as our machining and non-destructive testing capabilities. Bimac routinely produces castings to rigid Military specifications, Federal, ASTM and AMS specifications. Bimac's in house non-destructive testing laboratory helps us provide strict quality control using radiography, penetrant and magnetic particle inspection.

From the first inspection of pattern and tooling equipment, through in-process quality checks and non-destructive testing to the finished casting, we meet and exceed customer specifications.

Cast Tolerances

Typical cast tolerances of ± .005 inch-per-inch apply. Closer tolerances can be obtained in some cases, depending on casting design, tooling, casting size, type of alloy and heat treatment. Additional literature on dimensions, tolerances and surface finishes is available upon request.
