JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE:  Sales Engineer / Estimator

SUPERVISOR:  President

PRIMARY FUNCTION:  Estimating, casting engineering and order entry

WORKING PROCEDURE:

1. Estimates casting, machining and outside service costs.

2. Prepares and forwards estimates to customers.

3. Maintains quotation files.

4. Acts as the primary contact for customer inquiries.

5. Acts as the primary contact for Bimac sales representatives.

6. Makes sales calls and customer visits at the request of our sales representatives and our customers.

7. Works with customers on casting design.

8. Performs solidification modeling.

9. Develops engineering data and writes up order entry information for new jobs.

10. Assists order entry personnel in entering new casting and machining orders.

11. Assists manufacturing personnel in expediting casting and machining delivery.

12. Assists in Quality Control and other departments as required.

13. Maintains good housekeeping.

14. Maintains company owned computers, hardware and software.

15. Observes and follows all safety regulations.
